Terms and Conditions
Reserving, booking and payment details
We can reserve a date for you if available over the phone or via email for 7 days. If we do not hear back from you within that time we shall release the date for another customer. A non refundable deposit of £50.00 (£100.00 for a wedding) is required within 7 days of booking your disco with us which will be deducted from your final balance. The balance is due 7 days prior to the event if paying by cheque, cash payments must be paid on the night before the performance begins, our policy is no pay no play. Should you refuse to pay the outstanding balance Central Discos shall take the matter further via court proceedings to recover any outstanding payment. Any late bookings within 2 weeks prior to your event will require payment in full that week. All cheques are to be made payable to "Central Discos"
We will send you out your booking confirmation form and a copy of the terms and conditions for you to sign and return to us along with your deposit. Upon receiving this we shall contact you via email or telephone to confirm your booking with Central Discos.
Cancellation by Customer
All deposits are non refundable with the exception of Central Discos cancelling the event; if a customer cancels their booking with Central Discos within 14 days then full payment is still required. If you cancel more than 14 days prior then no charges will be made but you will still lose your deposit.
Cancellation by Central Discos
If Central Discos cancels your booking due to circumstances beyond our control (illness, weather, breakdown etc) then all money paid shall be refunded back to you. We will try to find you a replacement disco but cannot guarantee this. Central Discos will not tolerate any abusive, threatening or violent behavior from anyone under any circumstances. Should a power failure occur at a venue then Central Discos are not liable and will still require payment in full. In the unlikely event of equipment failure then we shall offer a refund for the remaining time of your disco. Should you the customer break the contract after you sign the terms and conditions form then Central Discos reserves the right to terminate any performance without refund.
Miscellaneous
Should you require your disco to go on for longer then its at the descretion of the DJ. additional charges will need to be paid up front. Sometimes photographic and video devices are used at events for promotional purposes, should you not want these used at your event then please let us know. We will never use this equipment for school discos and children's parties unless agreed via prior arrangement. If strobe lighting is to be used for your disco then please make sure this is suitable for all your guests in case of epilepsy as Central Discos cannot be held responsible.
Please be aware that if an early setup is needed for your event involving an extra trip then a £10.00 additional charge will be applied to cover fuel costs. Should anyone at your event damage any of our equipment (accidental or not) you will be responsible for any repairs or replacement costs.
If you choose to book Central Discos for your event you will be sent with the booking form a copy of these terms and conditions for you to sign and return back to us along with the booking form and your deposit. Its vital that you sign both forms as your disco cannot proceed without them.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
